The IWA specialist group on Diffuse Pollution and Eutrophication (DPSG) has existed for more than 20 years and looks back on a long series of successful conferences and workshops. The DPSG deals with source-related issues, in particular diffuse emissions and the fate of pollutants in urban and rural areas, as well as the effects on aquatic ecosystems. So far, the group is composed of scientists, engineers and administration-related partners and would be happy if these but also economic or NGO perspectives can be represented by new personnel from all over the world.
Currently we are seeking new board members to complement, support and also renew our group. As a board member we expect you to contribute to following activities:
· Participation in a working group of their choice
· Attendance of at least 1 of 2 consecutive board meetings
· Response to e-mails, participation in votings
· Contribution to newsletters at least in 1 of 2 consecutive issues
· Promotion of the Specialist Group in his/her country and networks
What makes our group special? Our international group tries to identify the different perspectives, challenges and opportunities for an improved water management. In addition to our professional relationship with water, we are united by a spirit of friendship and exchange and an interest in different social and cultural realities around the world.
